A shared family calendar that really works
A family calendar is only useful if it's up to date and checked by everyone. The goal: one place where everyone sees what concerns them, without retyping what already exists elsewhere.
One colour per person, one view for the whole family
In Famelyo, every member has their colour. The month view gives the big picture, the week view helps prepare busy days, and the day view lists exact times. A filter shows just one person.
Birthdays (from dates of birth), your area's school holidays, pickups, chores due and menus appear automatically next to appointments.
No retyping: link existing calendars
With Famelyo Plus, Google Calendar and Outlook / Microsoft 365 link through each service's official sign-in: their upcoming events arrive in the family calendar and stay up to date, edits and deletions included. A shared iCloud calendar, or the school's or club's, is added with its .ics link.
The other way round, a private, revocable link displays the Famelyo calendar in the iPhone Calendar app, in Outlook or in Google Calendar.
Reminders that arrive at the right time
- One reminder per appointment, at the delay you choose (the day before, an hour before…).
- Tomorrow's plan every evening, with the things to prepare noted in the event (Plus).
- An alert when two appointments for the same person overlap (Plus).
- Quiet hours: at night, only appointment and pickup reminders ring.
Frequently asked questions
Are changes made in Famelyo sent back to Google or Outlook?
No. Sync is one-way in: Famelyo reads your external calendars and doesn't change them. A change made in Famelyo stays local. To see Famelyo in your calendar, use the private subscription link.
Do children need an account?
No. Children's profiles are managed by the household's adults; they have their colour in the calendar without a personal account.
